To properly create effective websites, we have developed a special process for designing and activating your website. This process will help ensure that your finished website is both visually appealing and effective. Web Design Need Analysis: We mail you a small web development questionaire to understand your website design needs, about your business, your target market, web design preferences etc. Web Design Proposal: Based on your feedback we create proposal for your web design work, which talks about your web design details, time line and delivery schedule. Creating Design concept: Once we have thoroughly understood your requirements we will develop several layout designs for your website. We will create 2 to 3 layouts from which you will need to choose from. Web Design Starts: Once the final layout has been chosen by you, we begin creating your website. This step may involve creating copy / text for your site, unless you have provided it for us. It will also involve editing photos and graphics, and optimizing these for quick loading. Web Design Review: Once we have completed the website we launch your website onto a temporary hosting server where you can see the developed work. At this time, you will be required to review our work and suggest to us if further modifications need to be made. Search Engine Optimization of Site: Once the website has been finalized we can add "meta tags" which are important HTML elements on each page of your site which tell search engines what that page is about. These meta tags will be based on your business keywords. We also optimize your pages with title tags, content description tag, alt tags and keyword tags. Each page will also be optimized by having a Search Engine Friendly (SEF) URL. Along with this we create Google and Yahoo XML sitemap files. This helps your website to be understood and indexed by search engines quickly. That is the basis of Search Engine Optimization, simply guessing on words or phrases your target market will be searching for and carefully placing these keywords and phrases throughout your content and within the page titles. Launch of website: Once the website design has been reviewed by you or your representative and finalized, we will upload it to your hosting account and ensure that it is properly launched on World Wide Web. Search engine submission: Once the website has been launched we submit your website in Google, Yahoo, MSN, AltaVista, All the web and ask.com and DMOZ. This step informs the search engines of your new website and places your site on the list of websites that the search engines needs to crawl, or index. |
